Hall of the Corrupt (Albion)
I made the ingame maps for this Old Frontier dungeon in 2012 (on Uthgard 1.0).
Possibly they are the only ingame maps existing for this dungeon (DAoC started without any maps!).
It consists of an overview you can manually select ingame and 3 layers for all the levels which will auto-select based on your Z-level.
Marfach Caverns (Hibernia)
I am currently working on the next map (October 2023).
How to install maps for Hall of the Corrupt
Close the DAoC client if running
Locate your Uthgard DAoC folder, usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot
Enter directory "ui"
If there is no folder named "custom":
Create a folder named "custom" and enter it
Create a folder named "maps" and enter it
Extract the contents of the ZIP file into this directory, e.g. ...\Dark Age of Camelot\ui\custom\maps
You can delete the ZIP file now
Proceed to Last steps
If there is already a folder named "custom":
Enter directory "custom"
Enter directory "maps"
Open the file "areas.dat" with a text editor like Notepad
Search for [zone277] via Ctrl+F, if found: delete the whole block until the next []-block starts (Default: not found)
Add the following text to (the end of) the file (Select All, Copy & Paste):
Save the changes to the file
If you cannot save the file due to not enough privileges: Save it to the Desktop instead and copy it manually to the directory, replacing the old "areas.dat"
Extract only the four DDS files of the ZIP file into this directory, e.g. ...\Dark Age of Camelot\ui\custom\maps
You can delete the ZIP file now
Last steps: The directory contents should look at least like this now:
Start your DAoC client
In the character screen select "Options"
Set your interface to "custom"
Entrance is located in Pennine Mountains 31k, 11k - Have fun!
